Venue on RHS of Sinclair St as heading uphill away from seafront. Venue is staffed – janitor tel: 01436 673275. Car Park available.
Built 1887.
Capacity 387 – 300 interlocking padded stacking chairs in stalls and 87 fixed seats in balcony.
Mobile reception excellent. Payphone in foyer.
Helensburgh has all services.

Hall Details

Hall Dimensions: 18.2M (59’9”) long with balcony overhang x 12M (39’5”) wide, (13.6M/44’7” from stage to centre of balcony front). Height above approx 25’ (7.62M).
Stage: Pros width 6.3M (20’8”) x depth including apron 5.94M (19’6”). Apron depth in front of pros arch 1.32M (4’4”). Pros height & grid 4.04M (13’3”). Height of stage 1.27M (4’2”). Wings SL 1.9M (6’3”), SR 1.8M (5’11”). Crossover behind back black. Moveable access treads off stage front. Stage has slight rake.
Décor: floor polished wood, no markings; walls light grey lower, light pink upper; roof orange. FOH tabs & window curtains rust/maroon. Stage has full blacks.
Get-in: reasonable, through halls foyer/FOH. 5 Steps – straight or ramps at sides, 4 sets double doors. Approx 20M van loading area to stage. 1.3M (4’3”) wide x 2.11M (6’11”) high.
Acoustics reasonable but slightly reverberant.
Blackout good – all windows have lined curtains.
Heating by convector wall heaters (slightly noisy).
Grand Piano available on request. No Smoke Detectors.
Large & medium A-frame steps available.

Power: 100amp 3-phase incomer & 63amp single-phase socket in USR corner.
Stage lighting full rig available – Zero88 48 ch Fat Frog desk, 48 ways Zero88 Chilli dimmers, 8 x 1000w profile spots on FOH perches, 10 x 500w fresnels, 2 x 650w fresnels, 4 x 500w floods, 18 x 150w Strand floods. 3 stage LX bars on winches. Followspot on balcony.
Sound rig: 12-2 mixer, amps not seen, OHM speakers mounted on pros arch, mics, multicore to stage.
Houselights are dimmable chandeliers – controls in SR corner or LX control room on balcony.
